Thank you for choosing NumBricks. We take your privacy seriously and want you to understand how we collect, use, protect, and share information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
Nickname
The only piece of personal information you provide is a nickname. This is used strictly to identify you in leaderboards and to check availability when you register.
Nicknames are stored in Firebase Firestore and are not linked to any email, phone number, or other personal identifiers.
Usage Data
We may collect anonymous usage statistics such as which game modes are played and how often. This information helps us improve the app but is never tied to your identity.
Crash reports may be sent through Firebase Crashlytics if enabled on your device. These reports contain technical details about the crash but do not include personal information.
How We Use Your Information
To verify that a chosen nickname is unique and to display it during gameplay.
To maintain leaderboards and calculate scores.
To diagnose technical problems and improve stability.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties.
Firebase (owned by Google) is our backend provider. Your nickname and any anonymous usage data are stored on Firebase servers under its standard privacy terms.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures (such as TLS/SSL) when transmitting data to Firebase.
Only authenticated requests from the app can read/write the nickname database; there are no public endpoints.
Children’s Privacy
The app is intended for users ages 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
